Coniferous Tree ResinResin … A substance formed from the secretions of plants. A hydrocarbon secretion particularly from coniferous trees. Resin is valued for its chemical properties and associated uses.

Resorcinol … In mild solutions, used as an antiseptic and as a soothing preparation for itchy skin.

Retin-A … Derived from vitamin A, it is used in the treatment of acne.

Retinol … A vitamin A acid. The main ingredient in Retin-A and Renova. These products are used to treat fine wrinkles and acne.

Rosacea … A skin condition characterized by inflammed, red, oily, acne-prone areas.

Rose HipsRose Hips … Extract of various species of wild roses, rich in vitamin C.

  • Rose Hip Tea … You can use fresh or dried rose hips, for a simple rose hips tea.
  • You’ll need about twice as many hips, if using fresh. For fresh rose hip tea, steep 4-8 hips in a cup of boiling water for about 10 – 15 minutes.

A queen bee lives from 3 to 8 years, which is forty five times longer than an ordinary bee. The Queen is hatched from an identical egg but is fed by pure royal jelly, while the worker bee mainly eats honey and pollen.

Royal jelly is a pure acetylcholine. It contains: 17 amino acids, aspartic acid: 15% , carbohydrates: 12-15%, protein: 12% and, lipids: 5-6% .
